Designing Parts For a Robot With CAD (Computer-Aided Design) In SOLIDWORKS

Designing robot parts in SOLIDWORKS was both challenging and exciting. I spent time working on various parts, carefully adjusting the designs to ensure they would fit and function properly. Seeing the parts come together on the screen gave me a real sense of accomplishment, as I knew these designs would eventually help bring our robot to life.

One of the most important moments during this process was the meeting with the professional working in SOLIDWORKS. I could ask numerous questions and receive very valuable advice concerning how to improve these designs. They gave some suggestions on how to make the parts more efficient and easier to build, and that really offered new insights into how to approach the work.

This experience has enhanced my technical skills, but it also taught me the importance of feedback from others.
Knowing that the parts I have designed are going to form part of our robot's performance makes me feel proud and excited for the upcoming competition.

Outcome 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills
