Doing a Challenge of walking 17k Steps for my 17th Birthday
For my 17th birthday (October 26th), I wanted to do something fun and a little different, so I set myself a challenge: walk 17,000 steps in one day. What made it even better was having my friends join me. We spent the day wandering through parks, exploring city streets, and visiting some of my favorite places. With all the laughter, conversations, and good vibes, the day flew by, and before we knew it, we had smashed the goal—ending up with 21,678 steps in total
and meaningful connections.
It didn’t feel like a challenge at all. Walking with friends was much more enjoyable, like a little adventure. Along the way, I reflected on how lucky I am to have these people in my life and how much I’ve grown over the years.
This experience reminded me how great it feels to combine staying active with celebrating. It was the perfect way to mark my 17th birthday—filled with fun, movement,and meaningful connections.
