Redesigning Certain Robot Parts into Better Ones, Printing Them and Trying Them Out

After testing our team's initial robot parts, we realized some needed improvements. I worked on redesigning certain components to make them more efficient and durable. Using what I had learned from the first few versions, I adjusted the designs in SOLIDWORKS (a 3d/CAD designing program), focusing on making them fit/work better or withstand more pressure.

Once the new designs were ready, I 3D printed them and tested how they performed on the robot. Some worked as expected, while others still needed more adjustments. It was a cycle of trial and error, redesigning, printing and testing until the best results were achieved.

This process reinforced the importance of iteration in engineering.
