Doing Various Yoga Workouts For a Week

This week, I tried yoga every other day using beginner-friendly YouTube videos, including one by Cassandra (VIDEO). I had assumed yoga would be slow and easy, but even simple poses like cat-cow and downward dog required focus, balance, and control.

Each session helped me feel more present and aware of my breathing. I started to notice small changes- better posture, less stress and a clearer mind. I liked that yoga didn’t require any special equipment or prior experience. It met me where I was, both physically and mentally.

This experience reminded me how valuable it is to slow down. Yoga gave me a way to reset and reconnect with myself. While I don’t plan to do it every day, I want to keep it as a regular part of my routine a few times a month - for both the physical stretch and the mental space it creates.
