Running - 7km; Walking - 3km
At the start of the year, I planned to run a half marathon, but my schedule didn’t allow it. This week, I ran outside in Verkių Parkas for the fourth time. I combined running and walking - walking about 3 km and running the other 7 km, covering around 10 km in total.
Most of my previous training was on the treadmill because of bad weather. Running outside felt different, the fresh air and nature made it more enjoyable. I’m glad to be back outdoors.
This run taught me more about pacing and endurance. Sometimes I start too fast and get tired, other times I slow down too much. I’m learning to find balance. The hardest part is staying motivated, but I know consistency matters most. This experience has helped me improve both physically and mentally.
