Designing And 3D Printing Something To Help My Mom Fix a Cupboard

When my mom lost some of the hooks that held the shelves in her cupboard, I designed and 3D printed replacements in SolidWorks. I measured the space, created the model, and printed a prototype that fit on the first try. This showed me how I can use CAD and 3D printing to solve a simple problem at home and help someone in a practical way. It also made me more aware of how much accuracy matters when designing even small parts, since a minor error could have made the hook useless. I felt confident using skills I learned in robotics for a different purpose and saw how they transfer to everyday situations.
