Programming the Designed Robot

Programming the robot we designed was a challenging but rewarding experience. After working on the mechanical parts, I had to make sure the software could bring everything to life. Writing the code to control the robot’s movements, sensors, and autonomous functions required careful planning and testing.

One of the biggest challenges was troubleshooting errors when the robot didn’t behave as expected. Small mistakes in the code could cause big problems, so I had to be patient and persistent, going through each line to find and fix the issues. Debugging taught me the importance of attention to detail and thinking logically to solve problems.

It was exciting to see the robot respond to the programming and complete tasks smoothly. This experience improved my coding skills and gave me a deeper understanding of how software and hardware work together. It also reinforced how teamwork, persistence, and problem-solving are key in building successful robots.
